Taylor Swift is about to wrap the first leg of her history-making Eras Tour. According to CNBC, this series of concerts is set to earn $1 billion in sales. Still, putting up a show with high production values as Swift's does requires a lot of team effort, and the beloved singer knows it very well. That's why she has decided to reward the people behind the production, from caterers to dancers, with bonuses totaling $55 million.

To add a personal touch to the good news, Swift also took the time to make handwritten notes for each one of the workers. The messages were then personally delivered by her dad, who oversees many of the operations on tour. The note reads, “Thank you for your excellent work on the U.S. leg of The Eras Tour!! Your well deserved bonus is $100,000. Love, Taylor.”

The first workers to get this bonus were the 50 truck drivers hauling the production around the country. According to TMZ, the drivers got their checks ahead of the second to last tour stop in Santa Clara, California.

After six shows at Los Angeles' Sofi Stadium, the Eras Tour will head to Latin America in the fall before visiting Asia, Australia, and Europe in 2024. Aware of the demand for tickets to see her and how many fans missed out on a chance to attend, Swift has added 15 North American dates for the fall of 2024, including a six-night stint at Rogers Centre in Toronto. This brings the total count of Eras Tour shows to 146 dates, the longest of her career.

The Eras Tour, described by Rolling Stone as a “three-hour career-spanning victory lap,” features a 44-song setlist from most of her albums. An endeavor of this size for months on end requires a ton of work, so it's inspiring that Swift has made the workers who keep this well-oiled machine running part of the success story of this career-defining tour.
